Pink Week Giveaway!

It’s a beautiful Monday morning and even though I slept horribly (I should really never watch intense movies before bed) I was really happy to get up and leave the creepy dreams behind. Although somewhere in there I did dream that my dad asked me to show him how to make a quilt… Anyway, I have a pretty pink giveaway for one lucky reader. It took me a long time to decide what to do this year, and finally yesterday afternoon I settled on this cute bunting.
It didn’t take very long to make at all, and I already have fabric scraps stacked up to make about 5 more. It’s cute to work required ratio is in my favor for sure. Anyway, the actual bunting part of this bunting is 8 feet long. It is trimmed with stripey bias tape so it will drape smoothly if you hang it above a window, an archway or on the wall. It has three extra feet of stripey ties on each end so you can adjust the length from 8 to 14 feet.
And because I can never resist the pink journals when I see them, this giveaway also includes one lined pink journal, a pink pen, my favorite color of pink nail polish and a cute plaid vinyl makeup bag to keep all your stuff in.
So here is the whole thing (minus the Christmas tree. You wouldn’t believe how many times I had to go to Hobby Lobby to find this! It has been living on top of my piano for a long time and I loved how it looked with the bunting. But I’m not giving it up!) I’m not sure if you want me to tell you my favorite pink thing in general or from your giveaway, so I’ll give you both. From the giveaway I love them all, but I think the pink journal is my fave. In general, my favorite pink thing is a pink bridesmaid dress I have that is cute enough I can still wear it. Thanks for the chance to win!
I believe in pink. Pink is my neutral. My living room, kitchen, and art room walls are all pink.
Favorite pink things:
– Super Bubble, bubble gum in twistee wrappers.
– my five month old great neice’s dimpled thighs.
– my pink Balenciaga Work tote
That’s a tough one because I love pink! I think it would be strawberry ice cream. Our localish grocery store HEB makes some strawberry ice cream using Poteet strawberries and it’s yummy! Especially since we’ve been having 100 degree weather every day here lately. Thanks for the giveaway.
I love a good pink wall! Unfortunately I haven’t gotten around to painting any pink walls in our house yet. Maybe it should be on my summer to-do list 🙂
I love pink toe nails. I have a light shade of pink and a bright pink and these are the colors I bring out when it starts getting warm again. So bright and cheerful!!
Also, that bunting is precious.
That would have to be my Mary Kay pink diamonds lip gloss. I use it everyday!

Hello! I am back (from Japan and then three days later left and now have returned from Girls Camp)!!! I have adorable fabric for you. So. Cute. And…..some of it is even PINK! Yipee! Okay, so now to think of my favorite pink thing (other than you being my favorite pink thing :), probably homemade strawberry ice cream. Yum.
My favorite pink thing right now would have to be the pink crocheted blanket that my cousin made for my baby.
I think that it should be a tradition that I win this giveaway every year! My favorite (current) pink thing is a Michael Miller pink damask that I am using for my sweet little lady’s bedroom curtains 🙂

There are so many pink things I love. The one standing out the most is Beauty. Yes, I love her, and I really love the pic you posted yesterday. But then again, I love babies (even though typewriters don’t cry). Oh, and I love pink vintage sheets, rick rack, pom-pom trim, thread, buttons, and all thing sewing. And pink sparkly nail polish. Oh, and those little circus animal cookies with the non-pareils (sp?)on them. Hmmm, I guess for now, I’m still going to stick with Beauty, but I will reserve the right to change my mind regularly.

So my very, favorite pink thing is actually two or four really, little pink cheeks on big and little bit that I get to smooch every day. Oh and the peonies that grow out back in the spring. They make my whole house smell like starburst.

Hmmm….well I have just about every shade of pink nail polish which is most always on my toes but i may just have to say with this hot weather…Fampy’s famous homemade strawberry ice cream…which I am proud to say I have mastered myself! LOVE IT and brings back great memories with every bite!

Hmmm, my fav pink thing is usually fabric, but it’s hard to be specific here. I can, however, say unequivocally that my fav pink ‘food’ is cotton candy. I don’t know who’s bright idea it was to offer it in blue, but they will never convert me. It’s pink all the way. I’m going to the fair on Friday with my daughter’s class and I’m already salivating at the thought of my very own cone of PINK cotton candy.

while living in china there was a milk shop called bubble drama and they made the best strawberry milkshakes…that were only a dollar, and the best shade of pink…i loved them

ANYTHING PINK is my favorite thing! For today, I’d have to say there’s a tie in my heart between my two favorite pink shirts: a pink t-shirt from Texas embroidered beautifully with the state name surrounded by bluebonnets; or a pink pullover embellished with a crystal wineglass and the words “Nana’s Sippy Cup”, also in crystals. How can I choose?!? Texas bluebonnets on pink, versus a blingy touch of word play…
And I’m still hoping you’ll tell us the color painted on the wall in the background of this post … 🙂
My pink nightgown from Triumph! My sister gave it to me as Christmas gift and I love it. Not to long, it just cover my but and long sleeves and the best, it’s PINK!

Hmmm… Well, being a “girly-girl” I love lots of pink things! 🙂 But, I think if I had to choose just one, or maybe two :), I would choose pink gerber daisies, and bright pink fingernails and toenails in the summer. 🙂

My favorite pink thing is this amazing cashmere cardi with pearl buttons I found at Goodwill for $3. Both the sweater and the buttons are the most delicious shade of pink, and it’s impossibly soft; I love it so. 🙂

I love, love, love looking @ your blog. I am also a big pinterest follower (thanks to Betsy). I would have to say that while there are many pink things I enjoy holding, eating & wearing, I think that my most favorite is when I am able to look out and see my beautiful magnolia tree in full bloom. It fills up my whole front window. It only blooms in the early spring, and because of our delightful weather in this part of the country, more often than not just as it is getting ready to pop with color we get a freeze. This year it was in full bloom for a couple days before all the blooms turned brown & it was MAGNIFICENT.
Hmmm… well, I love all 20 plus shades I’ve collected of pink polish, my pink peep toes, my pink scripture bag, and my Liz Claiborne purse that I’ve had for 8 years,,, I searched FOREVER to find the “right” shade of pink!!! LOVE!!!
My absolute favorite pink thing is my gray and hot pink running shoes that I wear with everything. I even wore them to prom with my husband as we chaperoned this year. my fav pink thing. that is a toughie. there is my hot pink ipod, my collection of pink nail polishes, my pink pysanky eggs that i made…i think my favorite pink thing at the moment is my little poodle’s massive collection of pink pretty dresses. her latest is a pink cheerleading dress. so cute. scratch that. my fav pink thing is my gradmother’s pink vintage fancy dress from the 50s that is in my closet. i feel closer to her, and down right fashionable.

Since I have four boys I like almost anything pink. I try to add a touch of pink in a lot of places, much of this is to my husbands dismay. However I would have to say I like pink toenails, strawberry pink Icecream or frozen yogurt and pink gerber daisies make me the happiest. 🙂
My favorite Pink thing is my daughters wall. I love the hot pink that I used with Black and Cream accents. I just love Hot pink and Black together. I loved pink as a kid and had to wear it everyday until a kid started making fun of me and i told my mom I never wanted to wear pink again. Well I am older now and I will wear pink whenever I want to 😉
My absolute favorite color is also pink. My girls are all grown and live out and away from home, but a year ago I had one of our extra rooms painted a beautiful pink and I continue to decorate it in everything and anything that I can find that is pink, beautiful and feminine. I have a beautiful chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. My favorite thing in there though is a really small, old typewriter that my father fixed up and gave to me. It is not pink (I am still looking for a pink one like yours), but it is black and it is awesome, and deserves to be in my special, spectacular PINK room.
When I was little my Grandpa would give me a quarter, with it I could see a movie and buy a beautiful pink strawberry “Dainty” brand Ice cream cone…and that was in the day when you got a great big scoop of it. Yum, I can still taste the strawberries, oh how I enjoyed it’s creamy goodness.
Another memory was when I was in San Francisco at the age of 14…Being from a small town in Minnesota, it was amazing, astonishing and absolutely the greatest experience I had up to that time. On the street corner just before we got on the trolley car to go to the wharf, was a flower stand and I was able to buy the most gorgeous rose pink carnation. I had never seen one before and it was instant love. I carried it with me all day until it was falling apart and beat up. It still is my favorite flower and what I ask for if someone wants to buy me flowers.

I love my old fashioned pink rose – it smells like a rose – my yard smells like a rose when it is in bloom and when I bring them inside – my house smells like a rose.
Choose one favourite pink thing? If pushed I would say a big old-fashioned rose with a beautiful scent but a close second would be my hair when I tried to dye it pink. My hair is too dark for it to have been successful but I felt so excited to have done it.
Ok, so I couldn’t help but enter this giveaway, being a pink-lover and all. 🙂 My favorite pink thing? It would have to be my car. The paint itself is silver, but I have altered the inside to have hot pink suede accents all in the door panels and on the dash, and I have hot pink lug nuts! (Which I actually mentioned in my last comment to you before I realized this post existed!) I just got pink stickers, too for my car windows. I love it, because I get SO many compliments on my car in drive-thrus. So many of my regular haunts have employees that tell me they know me from a mile away because they’ll “never forget my car.” It’s a great compliment. 🙂 I wear my pink-lady status proudly!
Hmmm, difficult choice.. I would have to say my pink socks! I get to have a little bit of pink on, even if I hvae to wear non-pink clothing, OR… my lovely pink penguin pendant (Oh, alliteration!) It’s a little sterling silver penguin, with pink crystals filling it in, adding a sparkle to anything I wear
I was a proud owner of a PINK telephone that actually worked when I was a kid. We actually had it hanging on the wall for a long time. That is probably my favorite PINK thing I have had in my life.
