Pink Flowers

June 23, 2011

Last night I was at my mom’s house just as the sun was going down.  And she has some of the most beautiful flowers growing in her garden.  I couldn’t help but take pictures of them.  Though I wish I had a scratch and sniff app so you could smell them too.  Because the smell of peonies and iris are two of my favorite early summer smells.  A lot of you have mentioned in your comments in the pink week giveaway that flowers are some of your favorite pink tihngs.  So these are for you.  Enjoy.

That’s so cool. My sorority, Phi Mu, has pink and white as our colors and the pink carnation as our flower. We don’t have many flowers growing down here in South Texas, it’s too darn hot! I never really liked pink (I was sort of a tom boy and preferred blue) until I joined a sorority that was pink and white. Now I’m all about the pink! Thanks for sharing, and I’ll try to avoid commenting on EVERY post you write. Haha

Thank you for making me homesick for Utah again.

So gorgeous! We had pink peonys blooming, and at the start of spring pink daffodils (the middles turn pink) and tulips. Our roses are pink too.

So, so pretty. Great flower shots, e!!! Yeah, a scratch ‘n sniff app would totally rock.
