Pink Hair!

June 23, 2010

I’ve never dyed my hair.  I was white blonde as a child and it’s darkened a little to just regular blonde.  I don’t have any real plans to dye my hair, in fact I’m kind of terrified of it.  But yesterday afternoon I got a wild hair (pun intended) and I just had to have SOME pink hair to celebrate today.  (And a tiara.)

It’s nothing too extravagant, it was a little short notice for me to mentally prepare for ALL pink hair.  But I love it.  Like, Love love it. When I was younger I thought I’d like to be a strawberry blonde.  But now I know that is a little boring and if ever I was going to dye my hair I’d pick pink.  Obviously.  Here is some pink hair that I just Love.  It makes me smile.

Elsie is my crafty idol.  Her blog is a place that is always beautiful and she’s always up to something uber cute and creative.  And as if that wasn’t enough, last year she had pink hair! I love it.

Blythe dolls are a little creepy…. but they are still REALLy cute.  Particularly when they are sporting pink hair.

Ooh, I like the pink hair. A lot. 🙂 It’s just the right amount sassy.

I’m very much enjoying pink day, just thought you should know. Also, that cake is making me hungry.

i used to have the underside of my hair dyed super bright hot pink, and the top was my natural dark brown (wonderful way to not have to worry about roots, and it looked rad too!). i miss it terribly. if it didn’t fade to a weird pinky orange hue after about 4 or so washings i would still have it.
