Mini Vacation

Hello friends. I am on my way home from a very much needed mini vacation with our little family. Scott’s new 4 day a week schedule is finally paying off. Yay for Friday’s off! And Because Scott works for the government now, today was a paid holiday to celebrate Columbus Day. Wahoo! Go Columbus! Wahoo! Four day weekends! Wahoo! Vacation!
This is a picture from this same vacation a year ago. This is one of my very favorite of the family traditions I married into. (The other favorite is my mother in laws tacos. Hello delicious.) I’ll share pictures from this trip soon. I’m sure when I compare them I’ll be shocked at how much she has grown. Hope your weekend was fantastic, even if it wasn’t a nice long one.

Glad you had a good weekend. Trips to the cabin and my mom’s tacos are two of my favorite family traditions as well.
