Yesterday I got to meet up with my good friend Amy, and her mom and ridiculously adorable little girl Maggie for breakfast. She is here for The Sewing Summit and I was lucky enough to snag her for a morning while Creamie was in school. (Thanks to some $60 antibiotics, she is well enough to go to school. Yay!)
We met at the Blue Lemon Cafe to catch up and talk about life and have a little breakfast. It was a wonderful morning and I really wish she lived closer so we could chat in real life all the time.
I am grateful for the interwebs that introcued us, but it is a sorry replacement for real live conversation and cupcakes.
Ok, so we didn’t have cupcakes. It was still a little early for that. But they sure had a lot to choose from if we had been in the market for a cupcake.
Amy did try their sweetroll. Which considering the frosting on these things is probably pretty close to a cupcake anyway. Have a lovely weekend, I am off to spend a good long time with my little family. It has been far too long since we were all well and had time to spend together at the same time. It’s going to feel like Christmas!
Some days are diamonds for sure. xoxo
