So ready for a weekend.

Scott is off work early today and we are going to spend as much time as we can between now and Tuesday morning celebrating.  We’ve got parties and family BBQ’s planned for nearly everynight and somewhere in there I’m sure we’ll sneak in fireworks and swimming.  Here are a few Team USA ideas for your weekend.  Or you know, if you are not Team USA, that’s awesome too.  But there is cake, and everyone is on Team Cake, right?

    Ahh! Those watermelon stars are SO DANG cute! I bought a watermelon last week and cut it up using your awesome instructions. Watermelon is on the grocery list all summer long, so I think I’ll be doing some watermelon stars. Or other shapes. I have the perfect mini-cookie cutter set.
