Let them Eat Pie
Happy Pi Pie Day! Today is 3.14 and in the math world that means you celebrate pi, but in the rest of the world that means you celebrate pie. And so I am. And it is going to look kind of like this. It usually does anyway. So since my pie isn’t going to happen until after dinner, and I am so NOT a food-tographer, here are a few pretties to make you smile. And drool on your keyboard.

Also, can I just throw out there that I really wish I had been as into looking at wedding blogs 8 years ago as I am now. Most of these pics are from the handful of wedding blogs I read. And if I had as many good ideas 8 years ago as I have now? Well, I don’t know. The important thing is that I married Scott and we are happier now and more in love now than we were then. But if I was going to do it all again? There would definitely be pie. Lots and lots of pie.
And maybe I’ll try these little tiny pies. Because do you want to know what’s better than pie? Baby pie. Happy Pi(e) Day!
Sigh, I know what you mean about a good spread of pies. These pictures are gorgeous. Makes me want to throw a party just so I can have lots of pies, and fabric bunting, and more pie…
Oh no, no, no! Now I want pie. NOW.
Pink,
Those pies in jars are so cute! And since it is Pie Day, maybe I’ll make those Sweetie Pies I meant to make for Valentine’s Day but didn’t because I forgot to get extra butter for the all-butter pie crust I want to try out. On second thought, we’re low on butter again today (just went to the store on Saturday and forgot to put it on the list). Hope you and your cutie pie helper have fun making pie. And snap a pic of you two in your matching aprons for me, will you?

Oh wow! Love the mini pie idea, I’m going to have to look that one up.
I can’t believe I missed Pi day! I lived in the pi apartment (314) back when I was in school up in Logan, and we always celebrated heavily on the Day of Pi. I was too busy packing yesterday to remember, though. I did eat a (sorry excuse for an) apple pie at McDonalds, but it’s just not quite the same. So sad.
I made a pie for Nick’s birthday and thought of you the whole time. Blueberry-Blackberry. Yummmm! I even took a couple of pictures! The egg wash made a huge difference in it not burning around the edges. who knew?
