A Little Inspiration

January 23, 2011

I really need to get my sewing groove back on.  I haven’t sewn a thing since Christmas Eve, and I kind of miss it.  But I’ve got a sick little girl on my hands, who hasn’t felt well for a long time and this weekend took a turn for the worse.  I haven’t left my house even to get the mail since Friday.  I hope I can get her in to see the doctor tomorrow.  It breaks my heart to see her so sick.

Here are some of my favorite sewing/quilty things from flickr.  Now, if only finding my own inspiration was as easy as finding these.

Quilty Mosaic

1. timber quilt, 2. a hope valley queen sized quilt, 3. For Kim – Twice Around the Block Bee, 4. Colorblock quilt, 5. Nine Patch Quilt Along Progress, 6. 2 blocks done, 7. DSCN0659, 8. My Nittany Block Party Quilt Top, 9. Poppyprint – mugrug pears 3

I hope you sweet little one gets better soon. Hopefully the doctor will have just the right medicine.

Well, for me January is kind of a yacky month by default so take it easy on yourself. I’m sure she’ll be fine fast enough, kids always mend much faster than us.

Best wishes to you and your family.

So sad that Creamie is still sick! And on her birthday! Let me know if you need anything. You know where to find me.

after the holiday rush of finishing gifts sewing seems tedious, that’s when I sit and sew all those little projects (the tedious ones) i’ve been putting off. Once this was done I had room in the mind to think of the next project.
Hi I’m Kelly and I am loving your site; you’ve really inspired me. on several occasions so far!
Thanks! And I hope your little one feels real better, real soon.
