Summer time

July 24, 2010

Today is Pioneer Day, a state holiday to commemorate the first settlers who came out West and finally made it to this dry parched desert I call home.  And to celebrate them, and all those that came after (some of whom I belong to) I am going to hang out with family, build a big fire to cook our dinner and then do a lot of fireworks.

And one day I am seriously going to make these for a party.  But not today, I’ve got watermelon to cut and things to do and places to be.  Have a happy weekend!
