Happy Birthday

Today is my grandma’s birthday. She passed away five years ago and after she died I found this photo of her in a box in my mom’s garage. She was only 16 or so when this was taken. I love pretty much everything about this picture. I love her hair, the little bow, her pretty necklace, and of course her pink dress.
My grandma was a great lady who raised 10 children who went on to give her more than fifty grandchildren. Now that those grandchildren are getting married and having families of their own we have grown to a group in the hundred’s. I love you grandma, and I’m happy to have you at my pink week party. (I seriously LOVE that pink dress.)

I miss her so much! Such an amazing life she lived. I can still remember her so alive and vibrant. Happy Birthday Grandma! I love the picture and don’t think I’ve ever seen that one. Thanks for sharing.
