PINK WEEK!

It is officially Pink Week here at  pinksuedeshoe.com.  On Wednesday the 23rd is National Pink Day and the one year anniversary of my blog.  (I totally did that on purpose.)  To celebrate I’m going to be sharing all of my favorite pink things, I’ll have a giveaway which I’ll post tomorrow and which you can enter all week.  And then on the 23rd I’m going to have a blog party, which means it’s going to be a day FULL of posts and tutorials to make cute pink stuff and recipes for delicious pink things.

When i was a little girl I didn’t like pink.  Like at all.  But then when I was a junior in high school I bought a pink shirt for a Valentines Day dance.  And then I bought another.  And I liked it.  When I was nervous about something I’d wear pink.  Like for a test, or a presentation or an interview or something like that.  It made me feel good, which made me more confident.  And pink kind of just stuck around.

I don’t decorate my home with it, nor does my daughter wear pink ALL the time  (I do, but that seems different…)  Pink doesn’t consume my life or anything, but I do have to buy toothbrushes individually because multipacks aren’t all pink which is unacceptable to me.  But no matter, I am willing to pay an extra thirty five cents to have a pink toothbrush.  Come back tomorrow to enter my giveaway, this little clutch is going to be a part of it!
