Pink Week Giveaway!
GIVEAWAY CLOSED: CONGRATS KRISTIN!
It’s Pink Week! And that means all sorts of wonderfulness. This whole week I’ll be posting about my favorite pink things. My one year blogiversary is on Wednesday which is also National Pink Day. It’s a perfect time of year to celebrate little girls, best friends and all of your favorite pink things. And what better way to celebrate than to have a giveaway!
Look at all these fun goodies! To one lucky winner will go the following…
- A small pink leather journal of lined paper ready to be filled up with notes and ideas.
- A package of pink hot chocolate.
- One pink Sharpie marker and a pink sparkly pencil.
- A cute little floral brooch to go on your jacket or purse (tutorial will be posted this week)
- A pretty pink coral and pearl’s bracelet to brighten up your wrist.
- My favorite color of pink nail polish.
- One roll of pink floral fabric tape.
- One roll of pale pink (with teeny white polka dots) washi tape.
And of course that’s not all. You’ve got to have somewhere to put all your new treasures, right? Of course right.
This little clutch that I finished last week is yours as well. I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect pink things for this giveaway for a LONG time. For six months at least. And I was thrilled to find the pattern to make this little purse a few weeks ago. It was the perfect finishing touch! So, here is my Pink Day giveaway in all it’s pink glory.

Now, my favorite pink thing. (haven’t we already established that it is a certain clutch?…) I think I would have to say my favorite pink thing is a blouse that my mom made, many years ago before she passed away. It is a lovely soft shade of pink silk, with the most beautiful cutwork embroidered collar I’ve ever seen. Even if it fit me, I would be terrified to wear it. Thanks again, and good luck to everyone!

I love your blog! You always have the cutest things on here, and having a “pink week” is a brilliant idea! If I have to choose my all time favorite pink thing it would have to be my two little girls bedroom….it’s full of PINK and its super girly and it a place where princesses and fairy tales come to life!

My favorite pink thing right now is anything pink I can put on my daughter. That is because she has been home with us from China for only 7.5 weeks so far! I am giddy to be able to put pink on one of my kids. My boys kind of resisted it! 🙂
I love the yellow/pink roses that are in my yard. The roses bloom a cheery yellow and then age to the most beautiful shade of pink I have every seen!
What a gorgeous purse! And I totally feel for you trying to unpack with 3 children ‘helping’! My favourite pink thing at the moment is my very cosy cuddly pink dressing gown that I put on first thing in the morning. Oh and I had to put a 2nd favourite, cos its the pink nail polish that I wore on my toenails for my wedding!
HURRAY for Pink!! My favorite pink item … a little pink smocked dress that both my daughters wore home for the hospital (28 and 30 years ago). Being a military spouse (now retired) I couldn’t save tons of stuff, but that little dress is safely tucked away.
My favorite pink thing: a pair of pink shoes that I got years ago while living in Argentina. They are perfectly pink and comfortable.
It is 100ºF here this afternoon and a bowl of Pink Peppermint ice cream ( why is it I can only find this at Christmas ? This is THE ultimate cooling flavor !) would be splendiforous right now

My all time favorite pink object was a dress my dad bought me when I was 4. I saw Disney’s The Happiest Millionaire and one scene the girl dances on the patio in a pink dress with a full skirt, I remember lots of spinning. I was in love, and my dad got me my own pink spinning dress, which I wore to threads all year long.
My favorite pink thing is my daughter when she is having a pink day. She will dress in her pink dress, pink leggings, pink shoes and a pink(ish) jacket.

My favorite pink thing is my 5 yr old daughter who rarely dresses in anything but monochromatic pink.
Well I must say that pink is my “signature color,” so I had a hard time narrowing it down. But OOOHHH baby, do I have a good one. I am a high school chemistry teacher, and my favorite pink thing is my HOT PINK LAB COAT! My students get a real kick out of it. 🙂 It certainly spices up the science deparment, that’s for sure.

I think my current favorite pink thing is my crazy wild rosebush that we have in our backyard. It needs to be pruned, but I love how wild looking it is. After it gets watered or it rains, the sun evaporates all of the water and it starts giving off the rose scent and literally fills up the whole backyard. It’s amazing!

This is a super duper pink giveaway! Pink is my fav color, so it’s just hard to pick one favorite thing. I have a background for the computer at work that has a Hot, hot pink lily, and it’s GORGEOUS! It’s my favorite pink background EVER.
I really do love pink — I think it all started when I got a PINK cell phone years ago. So fun! My favorite pink thing is PINK TOENAILS, with a cute little flower of course. Pink makes any pair of feet look fabulous, and it makes me instantly feel pretty when I apply a coat or two (well, at least from the ankles down). 🙂

My favorite pink thing is a quilt that my grandma made. It has a wedding ring pattern and has different shades of pink and white. She gave it to me just before she died- and it reminds me of her. I wish I’d seen this blog before! I totally love pink! Right now, my favorite pink thing is my purse. It’s the seatbelt type one! Two shades of pink and then white for contrast. Though the dress I wore to my sister’s wedding may be making it’s way to my favorite, hot barbie pink!
Favorite pink things include food and quilts. My mother’s double wedding ring quilts are gorgeous and special because she pieced and hand quilted them. Some of my favorite desserts are pink because they use strawberries (strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting, strawberry pie with whipped cream, strawberry most anything).
My fave pink thing is bubble gum flavored lolli pops!

My favorite pink thing is a dress my mother wore. She lived in Long Beach, CA and used to go ballroom dancing down at the pier. It’s where she met my father. My grannie would sit and watch my mom dance all night, then everyone would come back to their house for coffee and pie and play cards til morning. My mom had two identical dresses; one in pale pink and one in buttery yellow. The skirts were circular and finely pleated. As a child she let me dress up in those gowns and dance on the service porch (in the laundry room) while she ironed. I loved that pink dress. She had other fancier dresses, but the pink one was so light and airy and it made me feel perfectly girlie and grown-up and pretty. My mom still wears pink blouses and she’s still just as beautiful now to me at 74 to me as she was at 19.
I think I’ll go have a good cry now!! Egads! Blasted hormones!!

I love everything pink. My favorite pink thing would have to be the flower girl dress my mother made me when I was four. I was so proud of that dress. Believe it or not, I still have that dress, and it is in very good condition. My youngest daughter wore it when she was little to play princess.
At the moment, I’m looking at a beautiful bouquet of PINK flowers sent to me as I got home out of the hospital. Looking at all that pink goodness as surely made me feel better.

my abosolute favorite is depression era pink pressed glass. my great grandmother had a collection of pink pressed glass on which she served the most wonderful desserts. now every time i see pink pressed glass, i think of my great grandma and smile.

When I was younger, I was always told that redheads shouldn’t wear pink, but now I disagree! I have a pink ruffled shirt that I love because it brings out my pink undertones and makes my freckles stand out! I love pink frosting on Valentine’s Day sugar cookie hearts too!

I love pink but can not think of anything that I have that is that color… Maybe the Ipod Shuffle cover that I use to distinquish the one I use for walking from the blue that I use for car tunes… thats it!
