Butterfly Gold
Yesterday after breakfast and a nap we went to Scott’s moms for dinner and fireworks. And besides having wonderful food and great company, my MIL had a present for me. Two, but the other one is in the wash. She teaches highschool and they have been cleaning out their foods room/kitchen for a remodel this summer. And look what she found.
Pyrex. Pretty Butterfly Gold pyrex. It’s in great condition, and I am sure I can find a lid at the thrift store to fit it. I am so excited. This isn’t my favorite Pyrex pattern, but it is growing on me. I like it more and more every time I see it.
And I like it most of all stacked up on my desk. I am working on a tutorial for the buntings I’ve been making that I hope will be finished by tomorrow, but it might be Thursday. I’ve got a lot on my plate right now, which I’ll tell you about on Friday. It’s exciting!
I’m SOOO excited for you to tell us all about it. 🙂
Can’t wait ’till Friday, then! What a lovely unexpected gift. You’re the most confident and lucky thrifter I know…imagine saying ‘I’m sure I can find a lid at the thrift store to fit it’. Get yer thrift-karma on girl and find that lid!
