Another New Project

October 16, 2010

Yesterday Scott looked at the dining room table, and the couch, and the floor where I have projects in various stages of completion and said “I am just wondering, and don’t get mad, but how many different projects are you working on?”

Answer: I don’t know.  But I just added one more.  And it’s going to be awesome!  The shoes belong to my sister… And the rest?  Well the rest is a surprise.

I can relate to the 7,000 projects.

I just spent a chunk of time perusing your sister’s blogs. I kindof (really) wish I had a sister.

eventual hubby came to visit me in seattle from california. he came early and found me in the kitchen in the midst of a crayon batik experiment. i’ve told him he asked me to marry him even after seeing that and now has no excuse to be surprised at the process of all my mamy projects!! and he’s a sweetie, too, like yours when he asks. aren’t they dears?

    Pink,

That is going to be totally fabulous. And there is always room for one more project.

My husband just asked me that same question.

Sometimes it’s only those spur of the moment projects that get finished. I think it must have to do with the intense feelings of inspiration and motivation they bring coupled with the guilt of knowing I have so many other projects that need completing that somehow fuels me to the end. So I say, hey, add another one to the pile. I can’t wait for the reveal.
