The Good and the Bad

October 8, 2010

The good thing about starting making my Christmas gifts in September is that I started making them in September.

The bad thing is that I have nothing to post about for three more months.  Well, nothing in the sewing department anyway.  But, I’ll have four more added to my finished pile by the end of the weekend.  And that’s a good thing.  Also, I need more colored buttons in my life.

My mom and I were just talking about buttons yesterday. There used to be a store by BUB’S that sold buttons for a penny and they had this huge bin where you could just sort through to find the button that you wanted. Why don’t they have places like that still?? I really need to get a jump start on my Christmas projects like you!- thanks for always being my inspiration. Did you hear about the girls crafty party yet??

My daughter and I both want to make a sewing machine just like that one. Pronto!
How about showing us your hubby’s b’day gift? Because it’s done, right? Did I miss it?

Two pumpkins stuffed and ribbed. One more to go, then stems and leaves to add. Thanks again for the fab tute. Mine are a little wrinkley along the ribs where I’ve pulled the floss – I think I didn’t cram enough stuffing in….

    Pink,

You could photograph super-duper close-ups of things and then post something like, wohoo! I finished something else! Guess what it is! Regardless of the posting situation, you’re awesome for starting so early.
