mom LOVED black licorice. anything pretending to be licorice that wasn’t black was NOT to be called licorice. have you seen licorice international–think that’s what it’s called. has wonderful things from around the world–including samplers you can try. sent some to my dil and she was in heaven!
Euuuuww! My sister loves ’em too, but not me. I can’t deal with jelly beanage in my teeth for hours after, but if they make you happy then fill yer boots!
Yummo. Go the black jelly beans. i have an aversion to all lollies that are green. My nanna was the same. Not sure how that works.
Thanks for posting this! It really put a smile on my face! 🙂
Mmmm…I LOVE BLACK JELLY BEANS!! And not too many people appreciate them!!

this reminds me that I keep meaning to tell you that I too love black licorice! 🙂
But I really mostly like the old school black licorice — that’s made with anise and molasses and stuff. mmm… I can’t stop eating that once I start.
