School Shopping
So this week I’ve been thinking about how much fun it would be to go back to school again. Which means that most of my free time has been spent cleaning, cooking and doing some menial crafting business searching the interwebs for pretty schoolish things. And even though it’s not going to happen this year, if it was, I’d be taking these things with me. You know, tucked inside one of those fab bags from yesterday.

OK, so these one’s aren’t for me. But they are adorable none the less.

Probably wouldn’t tuck in my bag…. this one can just sit on my desk. Or, maybe I’ll get him some other mappy friends and he can be part of a collection…

I’ve been really into sketching big purses/tote bags lately. I saw a really pretty one on Friday night that I think I just might have to try and make. Actually, I should stop sketching plans in my notebook and just make one already. And then pretend it’s for school. Hmm… maybe I’ll do that this week…
the bow on that bag is sort of what I want to do with my new bag! I love it! It’s nice to see it, because it gave me an idea…. love your posts!
I must be doing things all wrong. All of my friends around here make the most crafty crafts and doil up the most doily doils. I swear, I must not get the same 24 hours each 24 hours. I mean, look at me….I don’t even get time to change out of my workout clothes let alone make my own stylish tote bag…or even LOOK for one.
Teach me.
Or show me where you get extra hours.
Or explain to me how the heck to make my hours stretch better.
But then again, I swear, some days are so dang long….
I would like to make that bag too.
It’s weird for me not to be going back to school — beings that I was in it for so long, and then I was a teacher.
I’m glad though. 🙂 Even though I do love learning.
