Brick Walls

July 22, 2010

Last night I was cleaning up a few stacks of paper and I came across a scrap that had a quickly scribbled note.  And it was too good not to share!  This was something I wrote while driving (I was being very careful, you can be sure) after I had picked up my 6 year old nephews from kindergarten one day.  We had been talking about what they wanted to do when they grew up.

Dylan: One day when I’m a daddy I’m going to build a brick wall and then put DYNAMITE around it and BLOW IT UP!

Me: (stifling laughter I am sure) Really?  Why are you going to do that?

Dylan: Well, you’ve got to build SOMETHING to blow up.
