Pink Sweets
Pink and candy just go together. I’m not sure what it is about pink sugary things that makes my mouth water, but it works every time. Here are a few of my favorite’s.

I’ve never tried a macaroon. These macaroons look good, but I’m worried they don’t taste as good as they look. And if they aren’t to die for delicious they just aren’t worth eating. Also, I don’t like almonds, so my tastes might not be refined enough for these french desserts.

Yep, I’m quite sure there is no way to go wrong with pink Oreo’s. Did I mention that they are Strawberry Milkshake Oreo’s? The only other thing I need to know about them before I scarf them down is “do they come double stuffed?”
Oreos are my superhero weakness. I think I may need to seek out these pink ones you have now made me aware of.
Also, I just saw a tutorial for dipped marshmallow smores today… but a pink flavored white chocolate may be even more delicious… must think this out.
i can’t believe i haven’t visited since our last email exchange! i’ve not been on ANY blogs, really… but today i started thinking about you again and i’m SO GLAD i came to see what you’ve been up to! i’m bummed that i missed all of this, though! i need to start checking in on your blog with more regularity, that’s for sure. 🙂
i have to agree with you about the macaroons… i have this sinking feeling that they look so much prettier than they taste and that could very well take away the pretty for me. i like my fantasy of them so much that i don’t want to ruin it by tasting them and being disappointed! i love love love candy… so this post made me happier than i can say. i have this obsession lately with making really cute treats, too. i need to find a friend in my neighborhood like you. someone who has a creamie to play with my kids and rub some of her craftiness off on me!
(gawd, i hope that did not sound creepy.) anyway!
i need to read more now! i have to say, quickly, that a) i love subway tiles too and b) i think i could do pink cabinets and i’m not much of a pink girl. we just bought a 50’s kitchen table and it’s YELLOW, though. i’m so loving it! we’re going to do yellow and aqua, i think, with little splashes of red for fun. the table is in SUCH good shape, though… I need to post some pictures on flickr to show that pretty girl off!
not sure how i keep getting on different subjects here. i’ll stop now. and post comments to some other posts you’ve made while i was MIA! still loving your blog and still feeling inspired by you.
HOLY BOY.
i didn’t realize i could get your posts sent right to my email!
yay! now i will not miss a day fer sure!
