Ten Minutes Ago

Ten minutes ago, I saw you.
I looked up when you came through the door (up in an ebay search)
My head started reeling you gave me the feeling the room had no ceiling or floor.
Ten minutes ago, I met you, and we (I) murmured our (my) how do you dos.
I wanted to ring out the bells and fling out my arms and sing out the news.
I have found her, she’s an angel, with the dust of the stars in her eyes. (on her keys.)
We are dancing, we are flying, and she’s taking me back to the skies! (But not really)
In the arms of my love, I’m flying, over mountain and meadow and glen.
And I like it so well that for all I can tell I may never come down again.
I may never come down to earth again.
*Ten Minutes Ago, from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
she’s a beauty!
Very pretty.
I hope you’re singing the original version of that song, not the one from the Brandy version of R&H’s Cinderella. The original is so much better. 🙂
love this 🙂 i usually am more attracted to turquoise typewriters, but there’s something about this one. lol. i would gladly take it home too!!
That is one pink-i-licous beauty! I love it too! So glad it has found a new home where it will be loved and appreciated!
