A little teaser

June 11, 2010

This spring and summer I’ve been working on getting things put together and organized in my house.  (I do this every year, do you?)  Things are coming along nicely in most rooms (laundry room is still a disaster zone).  But this room is my favorite.

I’ll hopefully have it done and ready to show you more in a few more weeks.  Happy Weekend!

Oohh! Good ideas! In another 2 years, when I get rid of another kid (I mean when I sadly send another child away to college), I’ll be working on putting my sewing room together. I’m gathering ideas now (as always). FYI–check out http://www.crabapplehillstudio.com . It’s a great stitching/embroidery site and she has pictures of her studio–very cute.

So cute! I’m trying to figure out exactly where this is in your house.

So, when are you planning a trip to OK to help set up my craft room? I think you and Creamie would love it here! (Scott could come too 😉

k seriously – if i didn’t live a thousand miles away I would hire you in a heartbeat to come help me organize and decorate my home (and you could teach me how to shop at thrift stores too… i’ve seriously probably only been in MAYBE half a dozen in my whole life). you’re incredible 🙂

I love this. You have such great style. I need you here because I just can’t pull it all together. I’ve been to three thrift stores in the past two days trying to find treasures, but I’m not nearly as clever as you. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s working. How many different thrift stores do you frequent?

Love this shot. Some of my favorite things: the triple vintage girl dresses, they look like the fronts of sewing patterns!

    the vintage chrome clock

and I love all the cool small jars of buttons, especially the tall/ skinny ones! I have ziplock bags of all my buttons, and I may have to steal your storage idea!
