One of those days

I had a million things to do today. But I didn’t do any of them. Not a single one. Instead Creamie and I layed on the floor and colored, and we made cookies, and read books and we filled up today with a whole lot of nothing. And all that nothing was way more important than all those other somethings I had to do.
And today, I really needed one of those days filled up with happy nothings.

I think these days are what being a SAHM is really about… and we miss that sometimes.
I showed Steiger Creamie’s pictures… he still loves her. I said, “she’s a cutie, huh?”
