A New Old Dress

I found this dress in a box of my baby clothes that my mom gave me after Creamie was born.
I love the smocking on the front. I love that it is pink.
I love the little bit of lace on the sleeves.
I love that I wore it when I was a little girl. I love that Creamie is wearing it.
I love this little face.

I was reading along thinking, “what a classic, perfect little girl’s dress!” Then I saw the last part that said you wore it, and thought, “no wonder!”

I had a very similar dress as well although I think I wore mine as a baby. I think I still have it too. I used to put in on my dolls when I was little.

I already told you on facebook, but Steiger tried to kiss Creamie when he saw her in this pretty pink dress. (though I must say I think they’d be a good match… we might have to arrange that… ). 😉

So cute! I love the dresses that get to come back–I have two of my old ones that either my girls, or my girls’ dolls have worn.
And Creamie’s hair is getting longer finally! Ponytails can’t be far off now. 🙂

So cute!! I have a picture of AJ in a dress that was mine too. It was a turquoise sweater dress with little pink rosebuds on it. I think I will have to see if I can dig that pic up in my archives.
