Carnival Rides
Last weekend we took Creamie to the city carnival. She was in heaven, though while actually on the rides she was pretty somber faced. Usually with her tounge out. And I know that she’s like, growing up and stuff, but she is officially old enough to ride those kiddie rides by herself. And she didn’t even freak out about it. Awesome.
These are a mix of iphone pics and real pics. Oh, and this next one is her taking her first picture. See, she really is getting old, and I love it.
She would only smile on the carousel when she saw her daddy. But he kept moving, so it was really unpredictable. I did get to ride this one with her. Carousels are pretty much my favorite ride.
My self portrait in the mirror on the carousel. It was ridiculous how many times I had to take this same picture…
And yes, if you were wondering, my hair is still pink. It’s faded a lot, now it looks a lot more cotton candy colored. And my blonde roots growing in look gray (bleh) but it is still very much a pink head of hair. I haven’t decided how long I’ll keep it. But if it fades to peach it has definitely got to go. I will NOT have peach hair.
I’ve been making new delicious food all weekend. Homemade strawberry ice cream, strawberry freezer jam, and today homemade vanilla ice cream with chocolate cake bits (not enough of them sadly) and I have warm bread sitting on the counter. I’ll post a few recipes this week, though there is no chance of this blog turning into a cooking blog. Foodtography is WAY too hard for me to want to do it everyday. Hope you had a great weekend.
*Creamie’s orange flowered shirt is the latest in the string of little peasant tops I’ve made this year. I can’t stop. It’s awesome.
Gah, the cute kills me.
I love the pink your hair is right now…any chance you could redye it to stay that color? Hmm?
xox

It looks like you had a blast! So happy you shared your photos.
Care to share the strawberry ice cream recipe? Please?
I just caught up on all your posts – Pink Week, the pink hair etc. So inspiring! Loooooove your hair!!!! Can’t believe I missed all of this – I think with summer everything has just gotten a bit ahead of me. What a nice way to start the day, though – with a big smile after reading all of this!
