I HATE car trouble! A rule of thumb I heard once–if you’re paying $2500 or more in repairs, it’s time to buy a new car. Good luck with that and I hope it’s more loyal than Steve was.

Sorry to hear about the car troubles.

I highly recommend Rand’s Auto in North Salt Lake if you are going the used route. We have purchased a car there (and some of our family members have too) and we all have been really happy. There is a no haggling policy – the price on the car is what you get.

Yeah, we’ve done that too… cars pretty much suck. That’s why we’ve been buying new(er) the last couple years… even though we have to make monthly payments or whatever, at least I know what is coming and don’t have to worry about footing massive repair bills out of the blue. I seriously hate car troubles.

You should donate Steve to the Kidney Kars place or somewhere like that… that’s what we did with our last one, and we’re getting a nice little tax break from it. Better than the smashers because you get a little back (though definitely not what you just put into him… so sorry!).
